Rebekah Frick Julian, DVM, graduated from North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She practiced for one-and-a-half years in a high-volume, mixed-animal practice in Manchester, Tennessee, before joining James Animal Hospital and Lazy 5 Ranch Mobile Vet Service in October 2002. Dr. Julian enjoys the large and small animal work because of its variety and the continual challenges it produces. She takes special interest in reproduction, mastitis, equine dentistry and tube cystotomy surgery. A native of eastern Rowan County, Dr. Julian enjoys running, spending time with her family and traveling. She is married to Scott Julian, and they have two sons, Noah and Eli. Her pets include Sally, a golden retriever; Linus, a Jack Russell terrier; and Regis, a cocker spaniel.

Corrie Hampton Connolly, DVM, is a native of western Rowan County. Dr. Connolly received her DVM from North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She has worked at James Animal Hospital/Lazy 5 Vets since 1997. Prior to graduation, she was employed as a veterinary assistant. When she is not working at Lazy 5 Vets, Dr. Connolly also sees large animal patients. She has a special interest in exotic livestock and spends her free time working at her parents’ exotic animal farm, the Lazy 5 Ranch. Dr. Connolly and her husband, Mike, have two children, Cindy and Matthew. The Connolly family also includes two dogs, Rusty, a cattle-dog cross, and Lilly, a Jack Russell terrier; two cats, Dori and Nemo; three rabbits; and one horse.
